Back from meeting Durance & Kidder at Comic-Con

For those of you that don't know, there was a Comic-Con held at Toronto's Convention Center this weekend. I went there this Saturday with my friends, and was lucky enough to be able to get autographs from many of the stars who made an appearance there including Erica Durance (Lois from Smallville), Margot Kidder (Lois from the Superman Movies) and Adam Baldwin (From Joss Whedon's Firefly). Here are some pictures that I took:

Erica Durance/Toronto 2005

The waiting line for each of them was long, and went up to about 200 people. But it was well worth the wait because they were all very nice and appreciative towards the fans. I wasn't able to see Erica Durance and Margot Kidder in their Q&A session though because it was only held on Sunday, but, for those that are interested, Comics Continuum has posted a transcript of some of the questions that were asked in there. Be sure to have a look.

A wide range of actors and artists were present at the Comic-Con, going from Kenny Baker (R2 D2, from Stars Wars) to Peter Laird (Creator of TMNT). For my first comic book convention, this was all around a very enjoyable experience, so I'll definitely be going again next year (with better pictures to bring back).

None of this is directly related to Justice League, but I thought I'd share the experience nonetheless :)

'Justice League' video game coming in Fall '06

Warner Bros. has let out the word that a 'Justice League of America' RPG video game is currently under development and is scheduled to be released in Fall 2006 on PS2 and Xbox. The game will be based on the comics, not the TV show currently airing on Cartoon Network. But it will still feature Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, and the Martian Manhunter as playable characters.

The rest of the article can be found at MSN GAMES

Note: The article says that Spider-man is supposed to be in the game, but that is incorrect. The writer most definitely meant Superman.
