Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment is getting ready to launch a videogame for Justice League, named Justice League Heroes. The game is set to be released this Fall (2006) for PS2, Xbox, and PSP.
The game will feature an all new original story by Dwayne McDuffie ("Static Shock", "Justice League", "Teen Titans", etc). Here's how the game is described:
"In 'Justice League Heroes', gamers get to play Batman and Superman together along with an amazing team of super heroes wielding unprecedented powers for stand alone action on consoles and the PSP system," said Jason Hall, Senior Vice President of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. "The game utilizes Snowblind's innovative gameplay technologies and the respected story writing of Dwayne McDuffie to bring fans and gamers some of the best super hero battles in the universe."

The End of JLU, & New Show in Works.
|

|

|

|
Cartoon Network released news today that has addressed several things. Let's start with the most important:
THE END OF JUSTICE LEAGUE
If you've been surfing the Justice League boards online, either here or elsewhere, then you've probably heard endless rumors about how this season is supposed to the last season of Justice League. Well,... you can stop wondering what's true, because Cartoon Network has officially released news about the two-part season ender ('Alive' & 'Destroyer') being the finale for the series. Expect air-dates for them soon.
Next up, A new DC series is in the works, featuring The Legion of Super-Heroes. It's headed for Kids' WB, although that is still unconfirmed for the moment, and the series might end up airing on Cartoon Network instead.
Also, expect The Batman to return this summer with 26 new episodes.
DIRECT-TO-VIDEO RELEASES
As for Teen Titans, however, expect a new Direct-to-Video release named Teen Titans Tokyo. It is also set to be aired in the coming fall after it's dvd release. The movie's description:
America's coolest heroes head to Japan in their first animated movie, Teen Titans Tokyo, airing in late fall. When a high-tech ninja attacks Titans Tower, Robin, Starfire, Cyborg, Raven and Beast Boy spring into action. Robin finds out that the ninja was sent by a mysterious and menacing Japanese criminal known as Brushogun, and the Teen Titans travel to Tokyo to track the villain down.
Speaking of DTVs, expect an all new movie for Superman: The Animated Series, named When Brainiac Attacks! Thanks to The World's Finest, you can now see the first trailer for it here.
That's all for now. Expect the schedule to be updated with airdates for the remaining new Justice League episodes.
